This is Angel. His dad works as a farm laborer barely making $5 USD a day to support his family. His mom stays at home looking after little Angel and doing household chores while his dad is outside working. This very low income makes it tough for the parents to cover Angels most urgent needs. Angel is a Nahuatl and Spanish speaker. He hasnt reached school age yet. The family lives in a single-room adobe house with parts of the ceiling made out of cardboard and dirt floors. The house doesnt have access to the public drainage system either. They dont own any large domestic appliances. Angels diet consists mainly of atole, breastmilk, vegetables, noodle soup and fruits. Angel is healthy although his living conditions are not quite optimal. He weighs 12 kg. and is 0.85 m tall. Angels favorite holiday is Christmas because he attends the traditional posadas with his mom and listens to the biblical psalms.
