Sponsor A Child

Savindu is a cute little boy who lives with his brother, sister and parents in a lovely village located in the Moneragala district of Sri Lanka. Savindu does not attend school as yet.  They live in their own humble abode which has been partially built with cement blocks.  Their floor is concreted and the roof is decked with asbestos sheets. They are very fortunate to have access to electricity to light up their little house, a water sealed toilet and use water from a neighbor’s well.  His mother is a home maker and his father works hard at his cultivation to earn a living.  He earns an income of around USD520/-  which is insufficient to meet the requirements of the family. His mother looks after the children and tries to manage the expenses.  As such the children do not enjoy any comforts or nutritious food and health care requirements. It would be ideal if a generous Sponsor were to step forward to help this little child and his struggling parents, so that little Savindu could enjoy some nutritious food and also attend to his education successfully in the future. 

Ending child poverty begins with Savindu. It’s easy. It’s impactful.
