Esinyen is a jovial boy who lives in Turkana County in the northern part of Kenya. He lives with his parents, two aunts, three uncles, and grandmother. They live in a communal land in a mud and grass thatched house. They get their water from the communal tap. The grandmother is the breadwinner who ekes a living on broom making and weaving of mats. The family’s annual income is less than $ 360 which hardly meets the family’s basic needs. This challenge has forced the family to struggle very hard to get food, medical care, school requirements, house supplies, and other necessities. Esinyen goes to a nearby school in their village, He is in kindergarten and loves drawing. Esinyen likes rope skipping with his friends during his free time and washing the dishes. Community leaders referred his parents to seek help from the ChildFund project to assist Esinyen to achieve his dreams. According to his parents, Esinyen would like to be a teacher in the future. Your support will bring a lasting change to Esinyens life.
