Samindhu is a healthy little boy and he  loves to play cricket with his brothers. This child attends a school in the village and his father takes him to school on his motor bike. His favorite subject is Environmental studies. When he is free he loves to help his mother to scrape coconut. Samindhu, his brothers and parents live in their own partially built house which is located in a beautiful village in the Moneragala district of Sri Lanka.The house has been constructed with bricks, the floor is cemented and the roof is decked with clay tiles.They have access to electricity, a water sealed toilet and use water from a common well. His father does Cultivation work to generate an income for the family while his mother attends to the house work and looks after her children. Their annual income is about USD520/-. It is very difficult for them to attend to their day to day expenses and provide healthy food to their children with this small income. As such a little help from a kind person will definitely help Samindhu to look forward to a better future for himself and his family.
