Tais is a joyful and inquisitive girl who lives in Cochabamba, central Bolivia. She grows up in a remote community where life is a constant struggle. Her favorite thing to do is to play with cars and dolls. With limited resources and toys, she finds joy in simple activities that capture her curiosity and imagination. She attends a local school, where she enjoys her coloring activities. She dreams of becoming a doctor when she gets older. She lives with her parents and 2 siblings in a rudimentary house made of brick walls and corrugated iron sheets on the roof. While they have electricity, they lack adequate sanitation services. Her father earns a living as a mechanic, while her mother takes care of the home. The family monthly income comes to around US $ 316.00. This is barely enough money for a family to sustain itself.
