Deneth enjoys riding the bicycle and make play houses with his friends.  He loves to accompany his mother to the woods and gather firewood for their cooking. Deneth’s mother is a housewife and he loves to spend his time with his mother and his siblings.  His father does cultivation work to earn a living for the family. They live in their own house which has been built with wattle and sticks. Their roof is tiled and the floor is cemented. They enjoy electricity and a safely built well of their own to obtain water for their needs. But they do not have a toilet of their own.  Despite working long hours, Deneth’s father’s annual income is approximately USD290/-. With the prevailing high cost of living, the amount earned is not sufficient for their needs and it is very difficult for a family of five to exist on this low income. Deneth’s family lives in poverty. The parents struggle to nourish and educate their children, Deneth will be able to enjoy a better life and attend to his education in the near future.  Even the smallest intervention would go a long way for little Deneth. When we give cheerfully, we are blessed.
