Jaziel is a playful, friendly and joyful girl who grows up in the city of Oruro, western Bolivia, which is famous for its carnival. Her favorite thing to do is to play with plush animals. She attends preschool with great enthusiasm. She enjoys her coloring activities. She dreams of becoming a vet one day. She lives with her parents and sister in a small house made of adobe walls and corrugated metal roof. Her father works as a trader, while her mother takes care of the household chores. They make around US $ 274.00 per month. The income that the family receives is minimal and insufficient to meet all of their basic family needs. Poverty is a daily reality that most Bolivian children face throughout their childhood, as they do not have enough resources to thrive. The story of this child can follow the same pattern if we do not do something to change it.
