Prosperity lives with his parents and brother in Chitemalesa a small farming community situated east of Lusaka. He is a cheerful boy and loves playing with toys with his brother. He is not yet in school due to age. Prosperitys family depend on subsistence farming for their livelihood. They grow maize which is a staple food crop. Their annual income is about US$400 which is less than the international poverty level of $2.15 per person, per day.  Their income is inadequate to meet their daily basic needs. They are unable to buy basic commodities such as cooking oil which costs US$2.10. They live in a two roomed house that lacks basic services such as water and sanitation. The family draws water for home use at a communal borehole which is about 1 kilometre from their home. . Your sponsorship will help to improve the lives of Prosperity and his family
