Vihansi is a delightful little girl with a love for learning. She attends a primary school just 200 meters from her home, where her favorite subject is Sinhala Language. In her free time, she enjoys drawing pictures, bringing her thoughts to life with colorful creations. Vihansi shares her days with her brother and sister, who are her closest companions. She lives with her family in a modest home in the Monaragala district of Uva Province, Sri Lanka. Their house is only partially completed, with brick walls, a cement floor, and a roof made of clay tiles. Though they have electricity and basic sanitary facilities, the family must rely on water from a common well, which adds to their daily struggles. Vihansi’s mother is the primary caretaker, lovingly tending to her childrens needs, while her father works as a farmer, earning a meager income that barely sustains them. With sponsorship, Vihansi could begin a long-term journey toward a brighter future, filled with opportunities that could change her life.
