Tiguidanke lives with her parents in a remote village of Siguiton where access to electricity and clean water is a challenge. The familys main source of income is traditional farming of local crops. With the little amount of $387 that the father raises every year from the farming activities, not much can be done to meet all their basic needs. The mother manages to prepare two meals every day and get few clothes for the family. Tiguidanke is a kind little child who is attending the village preschool. At home the child likes to play with the siblings. The child is in good health and often sleeps on the wooden bed with the mother under mosquito net. A kind helping hand from a caring sponsor will enable this little child to learn to read and write in the future.
