Vigo lives in remote area, East Nusa Tenggara. His days are full of joy and energy that shine from his cheerful heart and healthy physical condition. He is still in the second grade of primary school and likes to learn social science. He wants to be a teacher someday. Vigo enjoys playing softball with his friends. His family love him so much that they always aim to bring the best for the child through every effort they can do. It is obvious that the family is now still living in poverty. He lives with his parents and his siblings in a simple house made from bamboo and wood with a bathroom located outside the house and lack of clean water. Everyday his parents will go to the field to do his daily farming activity and can reach up to USD 12.00 a monthly, which is not enough to cover the basic necessities and reaching the end of the month is a constant struggle. To help this family provide adequate care, education, child protection and fulfill his rights as a child, we are passionate to welcome him in ChildFund program.
