Dillan Stiven, known as Dillan is a cheerful and playful boy. He attends a basic public school; math is his favorite subject. He wants to be an architect when he grows up. Dillan loves playing soccer. He and his two younger sisters live with their parents not far from a health center and from school. They rent a house built with cinderblock walls, cement fiber roof and asbestos floor and have access to electricity and piped water. There is a toilet inside their dwelling. The mother is a housewife. She looks after the children. The father has a part time job as a mason. He gets too little, not enough to cover the basic needs of the family. The parents have big dreams for the children; they need help to prepare them to live in a competitive world and will be happy to see them as successful professionals.
