Tenin is a little girl living with her parents in a village called kigneko located in the community of Kalela where access is very difficult, no electricity or drinking water. They practice traditional agriculture and animal husbandry as their main source of income. They live in huts and eat two meals a day in a communal bowl during all seasons. With only $360 USD in income that the father generates each year, they struggle to improve their living conditions. Tenin is an admirable little girl who goes to school, does the CEC, likes to learn to read and make little drawings after school. She is in good health, no disability. Likes to play with doll objects with her older friends. Sleeps with her parents in a local bed under an old mosquito net. She wishes to improve her living and health conditions and to have a better future through aid.
