Leleng lives with her family in their small home made of light materials, situated within a remote mountainous area. Her father works as a farmer, while her mother takes good care of their needs at home. On weekends, they sell vegetables and fruits to supplement their tiny income. They have access to minimal electricity for lighting, fetch water from a community system, while the health and barangay hall are located about half a kilometer away from their home. Leleng, meanwhile, participates well in her school classes, as she also takes part in child development activities in their community. She is a friendly and kind child who does house chores, and she loves to dance and watch cartoons with her family and friends. Someday, Leleng would like to become a wonderful teacher!
