Although sometimes shy, Arnel is known to be a funny and sociable boy to those around him! He likes to read poems and stories in classes, and he participates in community development activities. Someday, Arnel would like to become a dedicated police officer! He also does house chores in his free time, as well as helping feed their native pics and chickens and fetch water. Toy cars, meanwhile, are his go-to play stuff. He lives with his family in their small abode made of bamboo and earthen flooring, situated about 20 minutes away from the town proper. They have a simple toilet, use firewood for cooking, and use solar lamps to light their nights. Their livelihood comes from farming corn, bananas, string beans, and other native produce, generating a meager sum of around $50 a month.
