Nelson is a little boy who lives in the southern part of Mozambique. He lives with his parents and one sister in a very small house made of wood. The parents of Nelson are farmers, so they live from agriculture. They consume part of their production and sell the other part to be able to buy other types of food, like rice and fish, school material and clothes. They live in an area where it is difficult to have access to clean water or electricity and they have to walk long distances to find water. On his free time, Nelson enjoys playing football and singing. He also enjoys helping his parents with the housework. The family of Nelson believes that with the help from ChildFund and partners Nelson will have the chance of a better future and their lives will be better.
