Yumi is a cheerful girl who lives with her mother and grandmother in a small community located in the capital of Mozambique. They live in a self-built house with stone walls, corrugated iron sheets and cement coated floor. Yumi studies in a Primary school and her favorite subject is Portuguese. Her dream is to be a police officer. She often helps her family wash the dishes. On her spare time, she plays with dolls. Her grandmother sells different items to raise income for the family needs including family sustenance. They cannot ease the financial problem in the family since they are unskilled at doing business. The family circumstances are ones of dire poverty and need. They have two meals a day. Their house has two rooms and sheds water on rainy days. Yumi participates in the program where she will receive support in the areas of health, education, nutrition and recreation. Your kind sponsorship and love will be a great blessing for this small girl in having a nice childhood. Hoping she will get bright future.
