Lamin lives with his mother following the death of his father when he was three years of age. Since then, his mother took up the responsibilities of Lamin and his brother. They dwell in a two bedroom mud bricks house roofed with thatch. Lamin is healthy and loves playing football with his peers. He is attending in one of the primary schools in the community and very clever in school. He loves to sing and dance to traditional music when the family relaxes in the evening before sleep. This boy sleeps with his grandmother on a mud bed carefully placed at the corner of their room. His dream is to become a doctor and help his family and the community as a whole.
