Songbo is an ambitious and smart boy who lives with his parents and other members of his extended family. They dwell in a self built three bedroom mud bricks house located in the extreme north of Sierra Leone. Songbo and his sblings sleep on a straw mat spread on the floor beside the bed of their grandmother. His parents are small scale farmers who cultivate rice and also grow crops like cassava, sweet potatoes, and vegetables. Their annual income is inadequate to solve some of the basic needs of Songbo and the rest of the family. Square meal per day, clothing, safe drinking water, proper bed and electricity among others are often neglected. He is attending primary school in the community but he is in constrains of most of his school needs. Songbo is healthy and likes playing football together with his friends. With sponsporship, his life will improve for a better future.
