Yontho is a smart boy who lives with his mother and sister in a deprived community in the northern part of Sierra Leone. They dwell in a two-bedroom mud bricks house with unpaved dirt floors with no proper toilet facility. His mother is a small scale farmer with an estimated monthly income of about US$ 80.00 which is inadequate to meet the basic needs of the family. They access drinking water from a small stream which is about 10 minutes walk to and from their house. Yontho is attending school in his village but lacks most of the materials needed for education. He is very active and clever and does well especially in Science. Yontho is in good health, despite the living condition of his family. Sposorship will go a long way to help improve the standard of living of the family.
