Little Yasindu’s hobby is playing cricket, dancing and singing. He also helps his mother to sweep and clean the house. He attends a local school which is 500 meters away and his father takes him to school on his motor bike. His favorite subject is Sinhala. Yasindu, his two brothers and his parents reside in a little village in the Moneragala district of Sri Lanka. This family lives in their own house which has been constructed with cement blocks. The floor is cemented and the roof is covered with asbestos sheets. Yasindu’s family enjoys electricity to light up their house, a water sealed toilet and use water from their own unsafe well. His father does cultivation work to earn a living and his annual income is approximately $560/-, while his mother tries to manage the expenses with their small budget, which is very difficult due to the rising cost of living. This small family too has big dreams. Therefore, we extend an invitation to a kind sponsor to join hands in providing care for Yasindu and his family. Your support will undoubtedly be a blessing to this family and help them to live a comfortable life.
