Isaac is a jolly young child living in a very small village in the Northern part of Uganda. He lives with his parents and siblings. His parents depend on subsistence farming and they produce beans, sweet potatoes and vegetables for both selling and home consumption. The family relies on U$ 1 a day which is not adequate to provide for the basic necessities of Isaac and his siblings. Since the village is remote, they do not have access to electricity therefore Isaac’s parents use the little money to buy paraffin for lighting with a small lamp. They travel long distance to access water for domestic use. Isaac’s parents desire good quality education, medical care and other necessities for his growth and development but they are incapacitated by the little income got from farming. They cannot access proper housing, Isaac and siblings sleep in a grass-thatched hut made of mud and grass, share one mat with his siblings. His health and general progress is good. He likes playing football with his friends most of the time.
