Mekdes is born from needy family living in Addis Ababa the capital city in the area called Markato. Mekdes lives with her mother since the father has deserted them. Mekdes is in primary  school. Mekdess mother sales onion and gets income to support the family. The mother is interested to start small scale business if she gets access to training and loan to improve the familys income in the future. Since the familys annual income is below $400.00, they are not in a position to cover their basic needs and provide education for Mekdes. So, support from kind sponsor like you will enable her to full fill her dream. They live in their rented one room house constructed from mud. Though there is community health center in their vicinity, it lacks medical equipment, medicine and other facilities. The schools in the community also lacks school facilities such as teaching aids in order to deliver quality education.
